NAC & Riboceine Comparison

In the following study, 3 groups of mice are given lethal doses of acetaminophen, the primary drug in Tylenol among others. If you take Tylenol and drink, it could lead to liver failure. The 1st group was not given anything and they all died. The 2nd group was given N-acetalcysteine (NAC) which is somewhat effective for increasing glutathione levels and half the mice recovered and lived and half of them died. The 3rd group was given Riboceine (Ribose-Cysteine) and they all recovered and lived. Based on this study, Riboceine is 300% more effective than NAC.
